the picture above was taken today on xingguo lu in the former french concession. it was about 90 degrees today, but absolutely beautiful.
the picture below was taken in February while it was still frigid outside. i never would've imagined those barren trees would sprout green leaves that quick.

Wow, What a difference. Only three months ago huh? Wonder how the street looks when the leaves fall off.
ReplyDeleteActually, it was even less than 3 months. The trees were barren until about early April. And then I left Shanghai for a few days, and upon returning discovered that leaves had sprouted (seemingly out of nowhere) on most of the trees.
